My business background is in the data and telecommunications industry. Internet and Intranets are no secret. Major projects include corporate network design, value added services and network security. IT projects have been approached with innovative total cost of ownership reduction. Professional activities are performed in different geoplexes like the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe. Holding post graduates of the London Business School and of INSEAD, I like to work in an Anglo-Saxon multicultural environment. Computer industry experience started with Apple products (who still remembers the Apple II ?). Oh yes, I am that old. Local Area Networks design got me involved with NetWare, AppleTalk, Vines, DecNet, TCP/IP and eventually (I have to admit), Windows NT. Wide Area Network experience includes Voice and Data services with integration of Virtual Private Networks, Public Switched Telephone Networks and the Internet. My experience with on-line services in Europe started with the introduction of videotext systems (aka Minitel in France). The WWW development caught my attention from the beginning. Being involved at early stage in the W3 Consortium, I had the privilege to meet the pioneer of the WWW, Tim Berners-Lee. During the first WWW Conferences, I had the pleasure to meet Marc Andreessen, the pioneer behind Mosaic and Netscape. As a former member of the ‘Architects of an Internet World’, I enjoy the challenging business in Cyberspace. Publishing on the Internet is a personal project to keep aware of recent Web developments. It brings along new ideas and ways that affect our daily life.
